Keynote Speaker profile: May-Brit Akerholt

The Dramaturgies Project are delighted to welcome keynote speaker May-Brit Akerholt.

May-Brit Akerholt has been a Tutor in English at Macquarie University; Resident Dramaturg at Sydney Theatre Company; Lecturer in History of Theatre at NIDA; and Artistic Director of the Australian National Playwrights’ Conference.

Keynote Speaker profile: Kully Thiarai

We are delighted to include as a keynote speaker Kully Thiarai.

Kully is a freelance theatre director and arts consultant and strategist.

Her recent work has included being Acting Artistic Director/CEO at Contact Theatre, Manchester, Director/CEO at Theatre Writing Partnership and a Clore Fellow.

About The Dramaturgies Project

The Dramaturgies Project, established in 2001 by Melanie Beddie, Peter Eckersall and Paul Monaghan, is a research and development laboratory that aims to explore, reflect on and give rise to dramaturgical practice in - and as a basis for - making innovative perfromance in Australian Theatre. We undertake activities to promote and research dramaturgy through our practice as dramaturges, in discussions and research symposia, in publishing and teachind, and in workshops and creative development projects.
